Our headache practice offers various treatment options which may include preventative medications, symptomatic medications (also called acute or abortive medications) and recommendations for non-drug therapies. Our Behavioral Medicine program includes biofeedback, cognitive behavioral therapy, acupuncture and various other modalities which will be determined during your visit.
For different headache diagnosis, we perform botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, occipital nerve blocks, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, and other nerve blocks when needed.
For more complex patients requiring intravenous therapy, we also provide acute outpatient treatment and intravenous infusions through our Outpatient Infusion Program.
Treatment is individualized and depends on the underlying condition causing the headache.
